The applications for the 2022 workshop have closed.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

CPS Rising Stars Workshop 2022 is open to graduate students and postdocs in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) core research areas as defined by the National Science Foundation CPS program<\/a>. These areas include control, data analytics, machine learning including real-time learning for control, autonomy, design, Internet of Things (IoT), mixed initiatives including human-in- or human-on-the-loop, networking, privacy, real-time systems, safety, security, and verification. In addition, the workshop especially encourages women, underrepresented minorities, and persons with disabilities to apply. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants should be within about 1-3 years of graduating with a PhD at the time of the workshop, or have obtained a PhD no earlier than 2019 and do not currently hold a faculty position. All applications are required to be submitted by March 10, 2022 (AoE)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selected CPS Rising Stars will receive travel support to attend the workshop, which will cover reasonable travel expenses (e.g., flight), hotel accommodation, and meals. Note: Due to NSF funding requirements, we can only support participants who are affiliated with a U.S. institution.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
