To protect faculty, staff, students, contractors, and visitors from potential exposure to COVID-19, the University of Virginia (UVA) encourages individuals to follow CDC guidelines and federal, state, and local directives.
Face Masks
• Per UVA’s current policy, wearing masks is optional on UVA properties and public transportation with the following exception: masks must be worn in UVA Health and Student Health and Wellness Center clinical spaces or where patient care is provided. Should this policy change before the Workshop, attendees will be notified by email.
Prior to Attending
• If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the Rising Stars Workshop.
Increased Sanitization and Hygiene
• Hand sanitizing products will be made available throughout the event space.
